CAIS is a product developed for AIG insurance company to generate auto insurance policies. CAIS calculates e Premiums for the Auto’s based on the information provided by the client. Once the Premium is calculated then the Broker / Agent proposes the same to the Client, if the Client agrees for the Premium calculated then the Underwriter Binds the Quotation and then issues the Policy. CAIS also involves in calculating the Billing, Renewals and Endorsements of the Policies. CAIS also helps in maintaining the Customer Information up to date.
Responsibilities:
Ø Gathered the requirement from Business users.
Ø Designed and created logical data models, schema objects, validation code and performance-tuning strategy using various types of Indexes
Ø Wrote Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and triggers using PL/SQL to implement business rules and processes.
Ø Extensively used SQL*Loader scripts to load legacy data into Staging tables and relevant Packages to validate and cleanse data.
Ø Developed Several Packages, standalone stored procedures and functions for various requirements from Business.
Ø Extensively worked with SQL scripts to validate the pre and post load data.
Ø Involved in migration, metadata validations, configuring autosys jobs in different environments.
Ø Create and schedule jobs as per new requirements, if any, support existing jobs.
Ø Involved in designing the logical and physical model of database objects using ER-Win
