A Ukrainian MP Ihor Miroshnychenko threatens Russian show business celebrities with assault. Kiev, 22.03.2014

A Ukrainian MP Ihor Miroshnychenko from Svoboda political party wrote on Facebook, ‘If competent services ignore the requirement to prevent Russian celebrities who have supported Russian aggression in the Crimea to arrive in Ukraine, we’ll have to put the method of ‘direct influence’ into practice.’

‘Concerned Ukrainians apply to me in relation to shows held on Ukrainian venues by Moscow pro-Putin artists who support war between Russia and Ukraine, the Crimea annexation caused by its occupation,’ quotes Ukrainskaya Pravda Mr. Miroshnychenko. He says that as an MP he applied to the Security Service of Ukraine, State Frontier Service and Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a demand that those who ‘support Moscow aggression and fuel separatism’ should be prevented from visiting Ukraine.

‘I haven’t received an answer yet. If the requirement is ignored, we’ll to put the method of ‘direct influence’ into practice or will be disgraced once again. I choose the first option,’ said Mr. Miroshnychenko.

On March 22 the Right Sector broke up a concert of a Kiev band Morphine Suffering in the People’s House in Rovno. ‘The Right Sector activists climbed on the stage, showed assault rifles and told us to get away or they would lay everyone down,’ says an eye-witness.
