FUTURE TENSES

Future Simple может быть выражено одним из двух вариантов (не считая форм Present Simple & Present Continuous) Обстоятельства времени: tomorrow the day after tomorrow soon in a week some time later next time next week for many years to come

I. be going to do 1.выражает запланированное действие («собираться, намереваться») I’m going to wait here until Carol gets back. 2.выражает действие, которое произойдет наверняка She is going to win. · sb. was\were going to do – обозначает, что действие было запланировано или должно было произойти, но не было выполнено I was just going to cross the road when somebody shouted: “Stop!” I thought it was going to rain but then the sun came out. II. will\shall do – ‘ll do (shall – I, we); negative – won’t (=will not), shan’t (=shall not) 1. выражает незапланированное действие, решение, принятое спонтанно, часто I think, I expect, probably, I wonder It’s late. I think I’ll go to bed now. · will (not shall) используется для: - предложения услуги That bag looks heavy. I’ll help you with it. - обещания Thanks for lending me the money. I’ll pay you back on Friday. - отказа делать что-либо I won’t go to the dentist. 2. выражает просьбу (Will you …?) Will you, please, be quiet? I’m trying to concentrate. 3. Future Continuous refers to: Ø исключения - Future Simple

1. незаконченные действия, рассматриваемые в процессе выполнения (как правило, с фиксированным временем выполнения) This time next week I’ll be traveling to Havana. 2. запланированные действия I’ll be driving to the countryside at the weekend.

Future Perfect выражает: Обстоятельства времени: by the time, before, by then, till\until

действия, которые будут выполнены в будущем к определенному моменту, выраженному: 1. точным указанием времени с предлогом by (к) I will have prepared supper by 7:00 pm. 2. другим действием, выраженным Present Simple (не FUTURE, так как это придаточное времени) Let’s hope the volcanic eruption will have finished before we arrive on the island. By the time you get home I’ll have cleaned the house from top to bottom.

will\be going to НЕ ИСПОЛЬЗУЕТСЯ: Future Present a) В придаточных времени, которые отвечают на вопрос КОГДА? и могут начинаться со слов: when, by the time, while, till\until, as soon as, before, after After you go another 50 metres, you’ll see a path to your left. b) В придаточных условия, которые отвечают на вопрос ПРИ КАКОМ УСЛОВИИ? и могут начинаться с: if, unless, provided\providing, on condition that, as long as, in case) Provided the right software is available, I should be able to solve the problem. В главном предложении сказуемое употребляется 1. в повелительном наклонении Wait here until I come back. 2. в одной из форм Future If it’s raining this evening I won’t go out. 3. в одной из форм Present What do you want to be when you grow up?
