The aim of « Computer design and design of the technological systems » study is student’s ability to design aesthetic environment. There is an opinion that designer should not have taste but should have clear knowledge basing on which he creates harmonic shapes. No doubts, the role of artistic intuition is hard to overestimate. But this is specific “artistic flair” which can appear due to availability of knowledge and experience only. The design process is synthesis of beauty and benefit. There should be synthesis of technical and aesthetic basis in each subject of design which always not constant and historically changing. These two components can be separated as follows: composition and form-building, function and construction, production technology, ergonomics, economics.
In the process of study of course « Computer design and design of the technological systems » a student must become a specialist, able to form the subject world as part of human culture, have thorough knowledges, allowing to work in industry, science and social sphere.
As a result of study of course a student must know about the methods of planning of industrial wares and artistic constructing; to estimate aesthetic properties of the mechanical systems; to use the got values for implementation of design of machines and technical equipment.
